Dr. Frank Calisch is the founder and physician at Waypoint Direct Primary Care, offering comprehensive DOT Physicals for commercial drivers and aviation professionals in Gulf Breeze, FL and surrounding areas.
After earning his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in 2012, Dr. Frank served 11 years as a Navy physician. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Naval Hospital San Diego and held clinical positions across the U.S. and Pacific, including Pensacola, Quantico, Guam, and Millington, Tennessee.
Dr. Frank is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and has a reputation for delivering high-quality, personalized care. His deep understanding of occupational medicine and his compassionate approach make him a preferred choice for professionals who need to stay medically certified for work.
Before studying medicine, Dr. Frank majored in History and Philosophy, later earning his Biology degree from the University of West Florida. From 2019 to 2022, he served as Chair of the Healthcare Ethics Committee at Naval Hospital Guam, reflecting his dedication to ethical and evidence-based practice.
He’s also a committed educator with over 20 years of teaching experience and a passion for helping patients understand their health.
