Dr. Frank earned his medical degree at the University of South Alabama in 2012. He joined the Navy and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Naval Hospital San Diego. He served as a naval physician for 11 years and was stationed at San Diego, Pensacola, Quantico, Guam, and Millington, Tennessee. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has a passion for providing high quality primary care with a focus on the whole patient.
Before studying Biology at The University of West Florida, Dr. Frank majored in History and Philosophy. He later used that experience as Chair of the Healthcare Ethics Committee at Naval Hospital Guam from 2019 to 2022.
Dr. Frank has been an educator for over 20 years. He worked as a tutor in college, taught High School Science at West Florida High School and delights in educating medical students, residents and his patients in the latest updates in medical care.
Dr. Frank is a lifelong learner, seeking to expand his knowledge. In addition to updates in Internal Medicine he also enjoys learning about complementary and alternative treatments with an unbiased look at the evidence. Dr. Calisch is pleased to offer acupuncture and osteopathic manipulation as a complementary therapy for many conditions.
Dr. Frank is married with two children and enjoys, reading, photography, woodworking, kayaking, and hiking.
